Privacy Policy
PokeLegacy is a small, independently-run hobby project. Here's what we store and why, in plain language.
What We Store
- Your username and email address (used for login and account recovery).
- Your password, never in plain text — only a one-way hash that can't be reversed back into your real password.
- Gameplay data: your Pokemon, currency, progress, trades, PvP history, and anything you post on the Forum or send via in-game Mail.
- Anything you optionally add yourself — a profile bio, an avatar, or a profile banner image.
- Login attempts (username/email + IP address + timestamp), kept briefly to block brute-force login attacks.
What We Don't Do
We don't sell your data. This site uses Google AdSense to display ads — if you're in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you'll be shown a consent choice before any ad personalization or measurement happens, and you can decline it.
Cookies
Session cookies keep you logged in and remember your theme preference. Google AdSense may set its own cookies for ads — you'll get a consent prompt for those if you're in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, and can change your choice at any time via that prompt.
